Gamophobia: The Fear of Marriage

Gamophobia is the irrational and persistent fear of marriage.  This phobia is closely related to  the Commitment Phobia.  


There's not a lot of information on Gamophobia, but a possible cause is a very traumatic marriage.  I know personally after having a marriage fall apart that I'll think twice before getting married again.  I don't fear marriage, but I can see where this could play a role in triggering Gamophobia.
