Parthenophobia is the abnormal and persistent fear of virgins or young girls.  This phobia is closely related to Pedophobia, the fear of children and Ephebiphobia, the fear of teenagers.
A phobia is a strong, persistent fear of situations, objects, activities or persons.  The main symptom is an excessive and unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject. Paraskavedekatriaphobia is the abnormal and persistent fear of Friday the 13th. This day is considered an unlucky and this causes many people to fear it.  The “Friday the 13th” movies have also played into this fear and have consequently increased it.
