Sociophobia: The Fear of Society or People in General


Sociophobia is the abnormal and persistent fear of society or people in general.  This phobia is considered to be a social anxiety disorder and has a huge impact on the lives of those who suffer from it.
A phobia is a strong, persistent fear of situations, objects, activities or persons.  The main symptom is an excessive and unreasonable desire to avoid the feared subject. Other phobia symptoms include shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea, and an overall feeling of dread.  Phobias are the most common form of anxiety disorders.

Ive suffered from sociophobia for several years until I sought the help of hypnotherapy. In my case it has nothing to do with trauma or a life experience. Guess it's related to heredity. Now I'm freed from my fears and has never enjoyed life like this before.
